How does Laser Tattoo Removal work?

Lasers work by producing short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to fragment into smaller particles that are then removed by the body's immune system. Researchers have determined which wavelenghts of light to use and how to deliver the laser's output to best remove tattoo ink.

Almost all tattoos can be fully removed with sevral laser sessions.

Laser is also very helpful when you are thinking of getting a cover up tattoo. Around 4 sessions of Laser removal first will remove the top layer of ink making the cover up much easier and opening you up to more designs possibilites.

You need to wait 4 weeks in between each laser session then a further 6 weeks after treatment before you can get tattooed.

Laser Removal is available Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am-5.30pm. We offer free patch tests.
